Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fagaceae Nyssaceae[Cornaceae] Pinaceae.  Host genera: Nyssa Pinus Quercus.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Genitalia: See McDunnough (1951) and McDunnough (1954). Similar Species: 91a0486 Hydriomena pluviata: male has valva with a sclerotized hair extending from costobasal tubercle II, lacking in transfigurata. The anterior margins of the juxtal plate are rounded in transfigurata and sinuous in pluviata. 91a0482 Hydriomena divisaria Pinned specimens of related species.
