Distribution: TX, AZ - McDunnough (1939). Holotype: Texas. Similar Species: Protoproutia laredoatatypically is larger, WS: ~20mm vs. ~16mm, and has basal two-thirds of hind wings darker with lines less well defined. Pinned specimens of related species.
