Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae Rosaceae.  Host genera: Helianthus Rosa Solidago.  Host extended: feed primarily on the flowers and buds of Asteraceae (Powell & Opler 2009).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
