Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Ericaceae Fagaceae Hydrangeaceae Malvaceae[Tiliaceae] Polygonaceae Rosaceae Salicaceae.  Host genera: Alnus Amelanchier Betula Crataegus Holodiscus Philadelphus Physocarpus Polygonum[unresolved] Populus Prunus Quercus Salix Spiraea Tilia Vaccinium.  Notes: primarily shrubby Rosaceae (Powell & Opler 2009).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
