Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Betulaceae Fagaceae Juglandaceae Malvaceae[Tiliaceae] Rosaceae Salicaceae Sapindaceae.  Host genera: Acer Alnus Betula Carya Corylus Malus Populus Prunus Pyrus Quercus Salix Tilia.  Host extended: polyphagous on trees & shrubs (Zhang 1994); many hard woods, on foliage (Wagner et al 2001).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
