Distribution: USA: MA to central TX and northern FL (Miller et al. 2018). Larva and Host Plants: Various species in Ericaceae (heath family), see Miller et al. (2018). -- Host familiy: Ericaceae.  Host genera: Andromeda Chamaedaphne Eubotrys[=Leucothoe] Lyonia Rhododendron Vaccinium.  Host extended: other heaths, on leaves (Wagner 2005); Ericaceae (JS Miller et al 2018); does not mention Hamamelis ...  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 930035 Datana drexelii: is best separated by genitalia or larva if reared.
