Distribution: Canada: NS, southern ON; USA: ME south to northern FL and west to IL, KS and TX. - Miller et al. (2021) Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fagaceae.  Host genera: Quercus.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
