Distribution: USA: southern FL - Miller et al. (2021) Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Anacardiaceae.  Host genera: Schinus Metopium.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: eutalanta Dyar, 1921 (Nystalea) - MONA 1983: 7947; TL: Coconut Grove, FL; Paradise Key, FL. ebalea of authors; (not Stoll, in: Cramer, [1781]) (Phalaena) misid.
