Synonymy:	menea (Drury, 1782) (Arctia) - MONA 1983: [NEW] laetifera (Walker, [1865]) (Ruscino) - MONA 1983: [8097]; TL: Mexico. Note: Walker [1865] elevated Ruscino menea var. ? [beta] Walker, 1854 to full species and renamed it as laetifera. latifasciatus (Butler, 1875) (Ruscino); TL: "Veragua". Note: "local form of R. menea".
Taxonomic Notes:	Eudesmia menea (Drury, 1782) includes as a synonym Ruscino laetifera Walker, [1865] in Ferguson & Opler (2006).
