Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Cyperaceae Poaceae Iridaceae.  Host genera: Agrostis Bromus Calamagrostis Carex Echinochloa Elymus[=Elythrygia] Iris Lolium Panicum Phleum Poa.  Notes: polyphagous on low plants (Forbes 1960); specialist on Poaceae & Cyperaceae (Crabo et al 2014); grasses (Nystrom & Ochoa 2006).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
