Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Urticaceae.  Host genera: Urtica.  Notes: unknown (Poole 1989).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: atomaria (Smith, 1903) (Bomolocha) - MONA 1983: 8450 chicagonis (Dyar, 1904) (Bomolocha) perpallida (Dyar, 1904) (Bomolocha) Taxonomic Notes: Hypena atomaria: Formerly placed in the genus Bomolocha.
