Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Cyperaceae Poaceae Polygonaceae.  Host genera: Carex Digitaria Hordeum Polygonum[unresolved].  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: synochitis (Grote & Robinson, 1868) (Erastria) - MONA 1983: 9049 Taxonomic Notes: Maliattha synochitis: Formerly placed in the genus Lithacodia.
