Host genera: Galium Sonchus Hieracium Hypochaeris Lactuca Leontodon Silene Sonchus Taraxacum. (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) |

- 931514 Cucullia intermedia: lacks the mid longitudinal reddish streak of umbratica and has hind wings of males fuscous brown vs. the mainly dirty white of male umbratica.
