Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Corethrogyne[=Lessingia] Hazardia[=Haplopappus].  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: astigma (Smith, 1894) (Copicucullia) - MONA 1983: 10214 Taxonomic Notes: Cucullia astigma: Formerly placed in the genus Copicucullia.
