Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Nyctaginaceae.  Host genera: Boerhavia.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: bimaculata (Herrich-Schäffer, 1853) (Agarista) - MONA 1983: 9312 crescens (Walker, 1856) (Eusemia) dugesii Cockerell, 1895 (Alypiodes) grotei (Boisduval, 1868) (Agarista) trimaculata (Boisduval, 1874) (Alypia) emend.; TL: (no type).
