Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Poaceae.  Host genera: Eragrostis.  Notes: on grasses (Muller 1976).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 932056 Heliocheilus lupatus: is warmer orange-brown, not dull brown, and not as mottled.
