Host Plants:
Host familiy: Asteraceae.  Host genera: Aster[unresolved] Erigeron Eucephalus.  Notes: larvae feed by burrowing underneath the seed, larvae are cannibalistic, and only one larva per flower head will survive (Powell & Opler 2009); specialist on Erigeron (Crabo et al 2014).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
