Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Lamiaceae.  Host genera: Monarda Mentha.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: teratophora (Herrich-Schäffer, [1854]) (Bryophila) - MONA 1983: 9284 inscripta (Walker, 1858) (Erastria) Taxonomic Notes: Anterastria teratophora (Herrich-Schäffer, [1854]) was transferred from the genus Agriopodes to the genus Erastria, now Anterastria, in Forbes (1954). This transfer was overlooked in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), ZooKeys. 421: 115-137.
