Host familiy: Betulaceae Cupressaceae Juglandaceae Pinaceae Sapindaceae[Aceraceae] Chaetophoraceae[Protococcaceae]..  Host genera: Acer Abies Betula Chamaecyparis Juglans Juniperus Larix Picea Pinus Thuja Tsuga Protococcus[Algae].  Host extended: Algae on bark (Wagner et al 1997); suspect many hosts are mistakes (Wagner et al 2011).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025)
