Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Cyperaceae[none_specified] Poaceae[none_specified].  Host genera: .none_specified.  Notes: grasses & sedges (Powell & Opler 2009); specialist that bores into the stems of Poaceae & Cyperaceae (Crabo et al 2014).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
