Host familiy: Cyperaceae Poaceae Juncaceae Typhaceae.  Host genera: Juncus Schoenoplectus Scirpus Typha.  Notes: specialist that bores into Juncaceae (Crabo et al 2014).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)

Synonymy:
  • subflava (Grote, 1882) (Nonagria) - MONA 1983: 9450
  • Taxonomic Notes: Globia subflava (Grote, 1882) was formerly placed in the genus Capsula. The genus Globia Fibiger, Zilli, Ronkay & Goldstein, 2009 is a replacement for Capsula Fibiger, Zilli, Ronkay & Goldstein, 2005, a junior primary homonym of Capsula Schumacher, 1817 (Mollusca).
