Distribution: Introduced from the Old World to Newfoundland - Franclemont & Todd (1983). Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Salicaceae.  Host genera: Salix.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
