Host familiy: Asparagaceae[Liliaceae] Amaranthaceae[Chenopodiaceae] Asteraceae Brassicaceae Caryophyllaceae Fabaceae Lamiaceae Poaceae Solanaceae Vitaceae. Host genera: Asparagus Avena Beta Brassica Helianthus Hordeum Medicago Mentha Phaseolus Pisum Raphanus Solanum Triticum Vaccaria Vitis Zea. Notes: polyphagous (Lafontaine 1987); Detritophagous on cereal (Zhang 1994); soil-surface feeding cutworm on general herbaceous vegetation (Crabo et al 2014). (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
