Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Asteraceae Betulaceae Adoxaceae[Caprifoliaceae] Dennstaedtiaceae Fabaceae Plantaginaceae Rosaceae.  Host genera: Achillea Alnus Betula Prunus Plantago Pteridium Sambucus Taraxacum Trifolium.  Host extended: broad generalist on hardwoods & herbaceous vegetation (Crabo et al 2014); .  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species.
