Synonymy: Phalonia grandis Busck, 1907
Taxonomic Notes: Honca grandis (Busck, 1907) was formerly unassigned to genus in Meltzer & Brown (2014). Pogue (1986) proposed the genus Honca for this species in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). Brown (2019) published the name Honca, new genus, Zootaxa, 4671 (2): 203.
This species was number 3826 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
