Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Adoxaceae[Caprifoliaceae] Betulaceae Ericaceae Fagaceae Juglandaceae Nyssaceae[Cornaceae] Pinaceae R..  Host genera: Betula Carpinus Carya Fagus Nyssa Picea Quercus Vaccinium Viburnum.  Host extended: polyphagous (Robinson et al 2002).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: geminata (Packard, 1864) (Cyrtosia) - MONA 1983: 4659 albipunctata (Packard, 1864) (Cyrtosia) N. SYN. - MONA 1983: [4658] goodelli; McDunnough, 1939 (Packardia) missp.; TL: (no type). goodellii Grote, 1880 (Packardia) ocellata (Grote, 1865) (Cyrtosia) N. SYN. Taxonomic Notes: Packardia geminata (Packard, 1864) includes as synonyms Packard ocellata (Grote, 1865) (formerly a subspecies of geminata) and Packardia albipunctata (Packard, 1864) in Epstein & Fiesler in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023).
