Distribution: Throughout eastern US and southeastern Canada. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Acanthaceae Euphorbiaceae Lythraceae Malvaceae Onagraceae Primulaceae Salicaceae Vitaceae.  Host genera: Chamaenerion Decodon Epilobium Euphorbia Hibiscus Justicia Ludwigia Lythrum Oenothera[=Gaura] Primul...  Host extended: foliage (Wagner et al 2011); Hibiscus(?) Vitis(?) (Wagner 2005).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: Dark band along outer margin of forewing is scalloped inwardly. Similar Species: 931966 Eudryas grata: Dark band along outer margin of forewing is smooth inwardly, not scalloped. 931965 Eudryas brevipennis: strictly a western species.
