Distribution: E. b. brevipennis: USA: CA. E. b. bonneville: USA: ID, UT. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Onagraceae Typhaceae.  Host genera: Epilobium Oenothera Typha.  Host extended: specialist on Onagraceae (Crabo et al 2014).  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 931966 Eudryas grata: not found west of the Rockies. 931964 Eudryas unio: not found west of the Rockies.
