Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Salicaceae.  Host genera: Populus Salix.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: asperipunctella (Bruand, 1852) (Anacampsis) - MONA 1983: [NEW] funebrella Heinemann, 1870 (Wockia) Taxonomic Notes: Wockia asperipunctella (Bruand, 1852) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico.
