Distribution: Canada: NS, QC, ON; USA: ME south to northern FL and west to MI and eastern TX - Miller et al. (2021) Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Fabaceae Fagaceae Juglandaceae.  Host genera: Carya Fagus Phaseolus Pisum.  Notes: Carya(?) (Heppner 2007); leaves (Wagner 2005).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
