Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Poaceae Fabaceae Detritophagous.  Host genera: Medicago Poa Trifolium Detritophagous.  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: litophora (Grote, 1873) (Litognatha) - MONA 1983: 8358 Taxonomic Notes: Macrochilo litophora: Formerly placed in the genus Hormisa.
