Larva and Host Plants: Feverwort (Triosteum). -- Host familiy: Caprifoliaceae.  Host genera: Triosteum.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 931906 Sympistis chionanthi: larvae feed on ash (Fraxinus sp.). Adults typically have more white scaling on thorax, costal margin, wing base, and orbicular and reniform spots but identification is unreliable. Pinned specimens of related species.
