Host familiy: Poaceae. Host genera: Bromus Dactylis Elymus Saccharum Sorghum. Notes: grasses & sedges (Wagner et al 2011); grasses (Poole 1989); climbing cutworm on seedheads of coarse grasses (Crabo et al 2014). (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)

Similar to lapidaria but can have white or fuscous hind wings. |
