Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Poaceae.  Host genera: Glyceria.  Notes: grasses (Panzer et al 2003).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: Hind wing pure white. Similar Species: 932945 Leucania multilinea: with white hind wings is separated only by genitalia or DNA barcoded. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: lapidaria (Grote, 1876) (Heliophila) - MONA 1983: 10446.1 Taxonomic Notes: Leucania lapidaria (Grote, 1876), formerly treated as a synonym of 10446 Leucania multilinea Walker, 1856, is raised to full species status in Rings et al. (1992).
